翻译文学教学的一个问题

人教版语文教材九年级上册选有英国诗人济慈的《蝈蝈与蛐蛐》，是赵瑞蕻译的。语文教材中目前选有相当数量的翻译文学，总觉得在有条件的情况下，是否可以将这些作品的母语版给学生作为参考，因为原文与译文的差别是很大的，译文保存了作者的情感和想象之境，但在语言上丢失了许多重要的文学因素（正是这些因素最不可译），而且又经过了译者的再创造，里面加入了许多真实的作品不存在的“虚妄”的因素，从美和真两方面来说都是有缺憾的（当然翻译文学也有它的特有的功能，比如对译介语言的重新塑造、接收方文化的弹性拓展等），如果教师能将原文的对比给学生作为参考，应该是有些收益的。目前的老师都有基本的英文能力，至于其他语种的作品，即使用英语译本作参考也会比单纯的汉文译本有益一些，因为字母文字毕竟更接近，所保留的原文的味道会更多。笔者以为某种英文翻译他种语言作品的方法，比目前中国的外国文学翻译更可取，比如将其他语种的诗以散行译出大意，并不勉强追求“诗外形”，如韵脚，分行等，这样做是更严谨的。
